WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR THIS PAIR TO LAY THEIR FIRST CLUTCH WITH US. THEY ARE BOTH PROVEN BREEDERS AND EXCELLENT PARENTS, BUT HAVE BEEN A LITTLE SHY ABOUT GETTING STARTED WITH US! :)
FOR THOSE WAITING FOR PHOTOS...HERE IS ONE...NOT THE GREATEST, BUT THEY ARE CAMERA SHY!!!
The female is the yellowsided and the male is the green cheeked in the back. He is the double split.
With this combination for parents, with the male being a double split normal, and the female being the yellowsided, the possibilities are as follows for the babies:
Females - will be any of the following:
Cinnamon
Yellow-sided
Pineapple
Normal Green Cheek
Males - will be either:
Yellow-sided
Normal Green Cheek
Until each baby feathers out, we wont know what color they will be!
Here is a picture of the color mutations listed above:
Left to Right:
Normal Green-Cheek
Yellow-sided
Cinnamon
Pineapple
